Life on earth can be quite insufferable at times, but aren’t we sometimes offered a universally accessible source that gives us answers to find some relief and perhaps burst out laughing? Ask the Oracle!
The oracle, which also represents our collective unconscious, can act as a house of transformation, a metaphysical space, where the present meets the past and the future.
The interactive installation Ask the Oracle was created by Say Say Say, Inc., an experimental design laboratory based in the MuseumsQuartier, Vienna and in Hell’s Kitchen, New York. Run by Austrian Design Duo Jutta Wacht and René Poell the studio explores codes, sensations, and objects of the present and past to transform them into new visual possibilities and future design languages. A multisensory combinatory play that moves between sensuality and logic, aesthetics and technology, pop culture and philosophy.
